Step 2 :: Submit Your Music
Music can be submitted/received in one of three ways:
A. Uploading to our server. You may find, especially if you are a long term client, that using our ftp site is the most efficient way of getting your music to us and our music back to you. To use our ftp site, you usually need to download some extra software. We recommend you go to versiontracker.com, type in ftp and select your computer operating system. A large number of free ftp client softwares will pull up for you to choose from and download. If using the ftp site, it is highly recommended you use a high speed Internet connection. For a username and password to the ftp site, contact us.
B. Emailing mp3s. Mp3s take up less space and have a lower sound quality than normal CD quality files. As long as you're okay with the sound quality of the mp3s, you can send them as an attachment to an email. Be aware that different email companies vary, and some allow more mp3s attachments than others. Remember to include your submission forms as attachments as well. Click HERE for our email address.
C. Postal Mail. Ah yes, good old snail-mail. This is a perfectly viable option. It allows you to send us high quality CDs and a hard copy of your submission form(s) without the hassle of using the Internet and all of it's mystifying problems. If you use this method, be sure to include the songs, your filled out submission form(s), and a self-addressed stamped envelope that we can return the CDs to you in. Contact us for the address to send to.
We may contact you regarding clarification on some edit choices, or may send you mp3s for you to pass off on. Once we've received your music , we'll send you a PAYPAL bill via email. Once this bill is paid, we'll send off your finished product.
